So sad to hear that some people have been affected for over a week now. iLok are being extremely cavallier with peoples livlihoods. It's incredibly easy to lose clients and reputation when something like this happens.

Telling clients like Dreamworks, sorry, my iLok is not working, I'm trying to rent/find a rig/studio that has the same software and plug in's, Ill get back to you tomorrow, simply does not work. I work on a lot of crazy deadline stuff, with tons of last minute changes. I love the concept of iLok, easily travel with my plugs, but if this shit happened to me this week, I very likely would have been out of business. Here in the real world, where people like me depend on this shit to work to make a living, even an hour of downtime can be devastating. On my studio B iLok which was never synced with a new iLLMan licenses of PT HD10 showed not in folder >Pro Tools HD10 but separately PT9, PT10, PTHD9, PTHD10 Connecting the same iLok on different Macs machine (10.8.3) reads its contain differently with different amount and types of licenses.ĥ. I have two of them greyed out even though I demoed only one.Ĥ.

I used to demo Avid Pro Limiter plugin, which is expired and is greyed out. ReVibe, I can get an error message "No TC Electronic MD3 plugin available in your account"?ģ. When I try to activate / deactivate a certain plugin e.g. What a mess! I wish to get back to normal without these "presents" in my account.Ģ. I also have several clones of PT HD10.and I only own 2 originally. I also could copy Sonic NoNoise license, VocAlign LE and others. I now have two PT HD9 licenses authorising indeed PT HD9 on a separate iLok.And I had none of PT HD9 licenses in my account - only surrended with PT HD10. I can copy any Avid license on a different iLok without the limitation.
